(taken with Verizon HTC10)
The best place to celebrate the 4th of July in Idaho is one of my favorite places on the planet, McCall, Idaho. My family will probably get mad at me for posting this out to the world because we like to call it and keep it “our own private Idaho.” But, seriously it is the best. Last year I spent the 4th of July in Lake Tahoe, which was great, but the whole time I kept thinking about how much I missed McCall! If you want to go to McCall and are looking for things to do, check out my post here.
This year I decided to head back home for some much needed R&R with the fam and fell in love all over again.
I was sent the new Verizon HTC10 phone with the brand spankin’ new camera to test out for my trip. I was so excited to try out a new camera because I’m kind of getting bored of my iPhone camera.

A lot of my friends have an HTC10 and I’m always jealous of the quality of their photos. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty impressed with it once I got the hang of it. Right now I use an iPhone, but the pics on the HTC10 were noticeably better than my phone and I was pretty excited!
I took a lot of photos on different types of cameras so you can see the differences below. I’ve noted what I used for each one. Verizon HTC, Iphone, Nikon DSLR and GoPro pics below for comparison!
If these photos don’t justify that McCall is the best place to celebrate the 4th of July in Idaho, then I don’t know what will! 🙂

Have you guys ever been to McCall, Idaho for the 4th? Have you ever tried out the camera on the Verizon HTC10 phone? What did you think?
