Tupelo, Mississippi, was hands-down one of the coolest places that I visited while on my Southern Roadtrip through Mississippi and Alabama. And I was so excited to get to stay at the brand new boutique hotel smack dab in downtown Tupelo while visiting.
Hotel Tupelo is 1000% the place to stay when visiting the birthplace of the King of Rock! First, let’s talk about the decor. It is inspired by Elvis Presley himself while also having a chic and modern feel to the property.

The location is everything when it comes to the hotel. You will be able to walk to all of the main attractions in the area and the hotel is the epitome of southern hospitality. It’s the perfect place to stay during your trip to Tupelo! Traveling with your pet? They are also dog-friendly.

Where to Stay in Tupelo, MS: Hotel Tupelo Review
Getting to Hotel Tupelo
Hotel Tupelo is very easy to find depending on where you fly in or are driving from. Off of US-45, it is only 4 miles from Tupelo Regional Airport (TUP) and 99 miles from Memphis International Airport (MEM). You can’t miss it as it’s located right in downtown Tupelo at 314 East Main St.
They have plenty of free parking near the building, and we had no problem parking our rental car.

Hotel Tupelo Lobby & Check-In
This hotel is unique as it is the first and only boutique hotel in Tupelo. The decor is inspired by rock and roll culture and has a sophisticated mid-century modern design. I loved the lobby and seating area of the hotel’s restaurant, Jobos, the best.
The bright colors and comfy seating stood out to me. I also love that they partner with local companies within their hotel. They had an entire lobby corner focused on their partners and featured goods from Queen’s Reward Meadery, Blue Delta Jeans Company, Tupelo River Coffee, and Dog House Pantry.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of 79 guest rooms and suites. We stayed in their King Classic Bedroom. It had views of downtown Tupelo, and the bed was beyond comfy. There was also plenty of room to walk around. Check out my video tour of the hotel and my room here.
Besides the amazing views, one of the highlights was the fun robes I love at every hotel I stay in! Other amenities include a mini-fridge, huge desk, complimentary in-room water bottles, walk-in shower, high-speed wi-fi, steamer, coffee maker, and safe.

Hotel Tupelo Grounds & Amenities
Onsite Restaurant: Jobos
Upon entering the hotel on the right side, you’ll find the entrance to the onsite restaurant, Jobos Tupelo. This is a boho restaurant with coastal cuisine. The decor and ambiance in this restaurant were phenomenal! I loved the cocktails and the seared ahi entree and recommend a visit if you stay at Hotel Tupelo.

Fitness Gym + Bikes
I was pretty impressed with how large the fitness center was at Hotel Tupelo. Let’s be honest, I’m not always working out on a trip, but this time I did, and it was a great size!
Bikes are also available for your self-guided Elvis tours or just biking downtown. It was a great way for us to get around when we didn’t want to use our car. You just need to check them out from the front desk.
Hotel Packages
Hotel Tupelo is unique because they offer hotel packages such as the Shake Rattle and Roll Package, which allows you to purchase tickets to different Elvis attractions with your room. Here, check out the hotel packages, including those that include your dog.
Price
Room rates fluctuate depending on what time of year it is, but I recommend checking out the Hotel Tupelo website to get the best prices for when you’re planning on visiting. They also are regularly running special offers if you can see any that work for you here.
