Things to Do in Palm Springs for a Bachelorette Party
Attend a Pool Party
A pool party is one of the most fun things to do in Palm Springs at a bachelorette party! You can either rent a fun Airbnb with a pool (some of my favorite Airbnbs are at the bottom of this post) OR check out one of the hotel pool parties in the area. The colorful Saguaro Palm Springs hotel has a great pool you can enjoy for the day, and the Swim Club at the Ace Hotel regularly has pool parties, depending on the time of year!

Go to a Drag Show
This is SUCH a fun activity to do during a bachelorette party—speaking from experience! I highly recommend the night drag show at the famous Toucans Tiki Lounge. It’s so much fun; just remember to bring your $1 bills! Other great options are to go to a Drag Brunch at Oscar’s Palm Springs or Roly China Fusion! Be sure to check out both of these locations’ calendars for their upcoming events.

Eat Delicious Brunch
If you don’t end up at a drag brunch, you should definitely still hit up one of the incredible brunch locations in Palm Springs! Brunching is a religion in Palm Springs, and there are plenty to choose from! Especially if you’re looking for a boozy brunch for larger groups. Skip to the best restaurant section to see my favorite brunch spots for a bachelorette party in Palm Springs!

Ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Get ready to experience the largest rotating aerial tramway in the world. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a tram car that takes you two and one-half miles along the Chino Canyon.
You also get views of Mt. San Jacinto State Park. This quick ten-minute journey brings you to Mountain Station, where you can enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, a natural history museum, two documentary theaters, and over 50 miles of hiking trails. Tickets are $28.95 per adult and can be purchased online here. A very cool and exhilarating day trip that your whole bachelorette party can enjoy.

Bring the Yoga or Massage Experience to You
If you’re staying at a house with your best gal pals, why not bring the relaxation to you? With this company, you can schedule a personalized yoga class, and here you can schedule CHY Massage Services, a mobile massage service that will come to you!
Go Look at the Colorful Doors of Palm Springs
Another fun activity is to go on a hunt for the colorful doors of Palm Springs! Finding the colorful isn’t too hard because almost every door is colorful, but it’s so fun to search around all the different posh neighborhoods for the best doors and homes. Here is my guide on how to find the colorful doors of Palm Springs!

Enjoy a Spa Day
If you want to really get pampered on your Palm Springs bachelorette, schedule a spa day! The Azure Palm Hot Springs is a resort and day spa perfect for a day of pampering.
Shop ‘Til You Drop
Take advantage of the vibrant shopping scene that Palm Springs has to offer. With boho-chic vintage boutiques and massive outlet malls, there is truly so much to explore.
If you want a group thrifting experience, check out Gypsyland Palm Springs. Not only is it affordable, but you can also find one-of-a-kind pieces and clothes. El Paseo Shopping District is a great place to have a full shopping day. There are over 200 shops and restaurants in the 9-block shopping district.

Book a Fun Tour of Palm Springs
Here are some really fun tour options you can take with your girlfriends!
- Tour Palm Springs on a luxury electric limousine bike with Sunny Cycle. Grab your girls and ride around the town on a two or three-hour tour to see all of the fun sights!
- Go on the Icons & Legends Tour around Palm Springs, where they tour you around the homes of the rich and famous, like Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra.
- Take a jeep tour to the San Andreas Fault Line to learn and see more about the California desert, history, and geology.
- Go on a sound bath and desert walk through Joshua Tree with this fun and unique tour!

Visit the Moorten Botanical Garden
For something a little different, this is a great option to do in the afternoon. Wander through the beautiful desert plants and the ‘world’s first Cactarium’ and use it as an opportunity for some fun Instagram pics! There’s a $5 fee to enter, so great if you’re on a budget.
Get Zen In Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree National Park is a relaxing place located right outside Palm Springs. Here’s my blog of things I recommend doing at Joshua Tree National Park if you do visit! There is a certain magic that Joshua Tree brings out in everyone. It is nestled in the Southern California desert, providing you with a peaceful escape and a beautiful place to disappear to for a day or night during your Bachelorette party weekend.
There is plenty to do in Joshua Tree National Park too. With nearly thirty hikes located inside the park, you will have plenty to choose from. They are rated from easy to hard, a trail for every hiker.
After a hike, watch the sunset at Cholla Cactus Garden. This is a gorgeous spot for group pictures due to the endless amount of Chollas cacti. Just don’t touch the Cholla Cactus! On your way in or out of Joshua Tree, I recommend visiting Pioneertown to feel like you’ve stepped into a Western movie! If you’d rather tour Joshua Tree, try this one! Or you can do the sound bath and desert walk experience here!

Attend a Festival in Coachella Valley
Coachella is a famous music festival known worldwide and held every year in Coachella Valley. The festival is a party and is normally attended by celebrities, festival lovers, and locals, all dressed in their boho best. If you are visiting in April, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your bachelorette party in Palm Springs. If you love country music, try StageCoach Music Festival, this was so fun!
Day Trip to Palm Desert
Palm Desert is a more laid-back retirement area with a lot of gated communities, golf courses, and people driving around in golf carts. There’s a ton of great shopping, restaurants, art galleries, and so much more! Definitely check out El Paseo Drive and also drive out to Shield’s Date Garden to get a fresh date shake!

After you spend your day relaxing, you can prepare for your night on the town. Palm Springs has plenty of unique bars that are perfect for a fun girls’ night out or a boozy day-drinking trip.
Amigo Room at the Ace Hotel
A fantastic option for those wanting to spend their days by the pool, with a drink in hand, is the Amigo Room at the Ace Hotel. This place is a very cool hipster bar with access to the Ace pool. They have an array of specialist cocktails, including the Cactus Rosa, which is vodka, Aperol, pineapple, lemon, and mint. Also offered is a variety of frozen slushie cocktails—a great companion for those hot and sunny desert days.
